Calvin Coolidge Bonner, 92 of Athens, died Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville. 

Services will be 12noon Tuesday at Friendship United Methodist Church with Steve Dorning and Joel Carwile officiating, visitation is from 10am until service Tuesday at the church, there will be a Graveside Service 3PM Tuesday at Mars Hill Cemetery in Lawrenceburg Tennessee, with Spry Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

Mr. Bonner was born November 18, 1925 in Lawrence County Tennessee, he was a Charter Member of Friendship United Methodist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, a retired Momar Chemical Salesman, a former Chairman of the Limestone County Republican Party, retired Colonel Alabama State Defense Force, a former owner of Valley Security and he was a member of The Burger King Coffee Club.

Survivors: Son: Gregory Bonner of Madison, Daughters: Vivian Almond of Crystal River, FL and Pamela Moses of Athens, Grandchildren: Brian Almond, Andrew Almond, Stephen Moses, Rebecca Moses Felker, Callie Bonner Fowler and Caroline Bonner, Six Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in death by Wife: Betty Townsend Bonner, Thirteen Brothers and Sisters.

Memorials may be made to Tut Fann State Veterans Home or Limestone Veterans Museum.
