Cora Lee Cox, 83 of Elkmont, Alabama, died Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Limestone Health Facility.

Services will be 1pm Saturday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Tammy Johnson officiating, burial in Reunion Cemetery, visitation is from 11am until service Saturday at Spry Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Richardson, Roger Baker, Dalton Smith, Shawn Richardson, Jake Johnson.

Mrs. Cox was born June 4, 1935 in Limestone County, she was a member of Mays Memorial Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.

Survivors: Daughter: Kay (Donnie) Holman of Toney, Sons: Ray (Pam) Cox of Elkmont, Carlos (Julie) Cox of Athens, Lloyd (Angie) Cox of Athens, Ten Grandchildren, Nineteen Great Grandchildren, One Great Great Grandson, Sisters: Nora Lee McCune of Athens, Francis Dyer of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, several Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by: Mother: Lillie Baker Coots, Father: Sam Baker, Husband: Floyd Cox, Daughters: Carolyn Cox, Betty Jones, Brothers: Z.W. Baker, Robert Baker, Billy Baker, Milton Baker, Alvin Baker, J.C. Baker, Sister: Tilda Brown. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
