Bobby Allen Gilliam, 75 of Athens, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at his residence.

Services will be 2pm Friday at Mt. Carmel Church of Christ with Dwight Ridinger officiating, burial in Dement Cemetery, visitation is Friday from 12noon until service at the church, Spry Funeral Home Directing.

Mr. Gilliam was born September 25, 1942 in Limestone County, he was a member of the Church of Christ and he was retired from Brownsferry Nuclear Plant.

Survivors: Wife: Sue Gilliam of Athens, Daughters: Beth Gilliam Pepper of Athens, Lisa Jackson and husband Brandon of Anderson, Joy Roy and husband Jamie of Hartselle, Brothers: James Gilliam of Athens, Ronald Gilliam of Athens, Steve Gilliam of Athens, Sister: Betty Burroughs of Lebanon, TN, Seven Grandchildren, Five Great-Grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers. A special thanks to Hospice of Limestone County.

Preceded in death by Sister: Juanita Burroughs, Brother: Charles Gilliam.
