Glen Tucker, age 79 of Leoma, Tennessee died June 2, 2026 at his home. He was born August 5, 1946 in Winterhaven, Florida. Mr. Tucker was a member of Temperance Oak Missionary Baptist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran, and retired from T.V.A.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Tucker of Leoma, Tennessee, son, Tracy Tucker of Athens, stepson, Ricky Weaver of Red Bay, Alabama, stepdaughter, Shelia Newton of Leoma, grandchildren, Jake White, Kelsey Tucker, Derrick Newton, Tyler Newton, Emily Taylor, several great grandchildren, sisters, Glenda Dabbs of Rogersville, Vicki Kelley of Killen, Brenda Cramer of Atlanta, Georgia, and Sally Clemmons of Atlanta, Georgia, brothers, Gene Tucker of Athens, David Tucker of Athens, Kenny Tucker of Rogersville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Lucille Tucker, wife, Dorothy Taylor Tucker, brothers, Bennie Lee Tucker and Danny Tucker.
There will be a visitation Thursday, June 4th from 12:00 noon until service time at Spry Funeral Home of Athens. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Spry Chapel officiated by Keith Prince. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob White, William Tucker, Preston Tucker, B.J. Clemmons, Tucker Clemmons, and Gabe Kelley.
