Glenda H. Easter, age 89, of Athens died August 26, 2026 at Athens Limestone Hospital. She was born May 9, 1937 in Limestone County. Mrs. Easter was a member of the O’Neal church of Christ and retired from Redstone Arsenal.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Glenn (Marilyn) Easter, Randy (Jenny) Easter, David Lynn (Connie) Easter, eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Easter was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Christalee Hough, husband, Glendon Rich Easter, and her brother, Freddy Hough.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 31st at the O’Neal church of Christ officiated by Daniel Tucker and Guy McDaniel with interment following at Dement Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Joel Easter, Christian Easter, Nicholas Easter, Josh Easter, Stevie Romero and Cody Little.
