Walter Elbert Grady, 81 of Athens, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at his residence.

Services will be 2PM Friday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel, burial in Limestone Memorial Gardens, visitation is from 1PM until service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Grady was born May 29, 1936 in Letart Falls, Ohio, he was a U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and he was a retried Iron Worker.

Survivors: Wife: Anita L. Grady of Athens, Daughters: Chrystal Curnutt of Athens, Jennifer Hoffman of Athens and Jody White of Anderson, AL, Sons: Ronnie Jenkins  of Athens, Aaron Jenkins of Lafayette, IN. and Judd Jenkins of Athens, Twenty Grandchildren, Sixteen Great Grandchildren, Brothers: Clark Grady of Lafayette, IN., Blaine Grady of Oregon.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Hamilton, Blake Curnutt, Dalton Hoffman, Judd Jenkins Jr., Warren Hoffman, Virgil White.
