Marvin Claud Garner, 91 of Athens, Alabama, died Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.

There will be a 11am Graveside Monday at Dement Cemetery with Luther Duggar officiating.

Visitation is 6pm until 8pm Sunday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.

Mr. Garner was born July 30, 1930 in Alabama, he was a member of First Independent Methodist Church and he was a farmer.

Survivors:  Daughter: Barbara Dollar of Athens. Grandsons: Terry Ritterbush of Athens, Jerry Ritterbush of Athens and Ronnie Dabbs of Athens; Eight Great Grandchildren; Five Great-Great Grandchildren.
