Michael Warren Brown, age 68, of Elkmont died May 26, 2026
at his home. He was born August 8, 1957 in Limestone County, Alabama. He was of
the Baptist Faith and formerly employed at Athens Utilities and Pike Electric.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Becky Kelley Brown,
daughter, Sara Brown Beede (Ray), grandson, Brooks McCoy Beede, baby dogs,
Maggie Mae and Lillie, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded
in death by his mother, Magdelene Taylor, sister, Patricia Keiff,
brothers, Dennis Brown and Larry Brown.
There will be a visitation at Spry Funeral Home on Friday,
May 29th from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Services will start at 3:00 p.m.
Friday, May 29th in the Spry Chapel officiated by Jeff Drake. Interment to
follow at New Salem Cemetery in Athens. Pallbearers will be Will Gilbert, Ray
Beede, Barry Kelley, and Adam Kelley.
