June H. Stripling “Mama June”, 80 passed into the arms of her Savior on March 18. 2018.

June was born in Pine Mountain, Georgia, to Evelyn Hargett and Raymond Hasty on June 7, 1937.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William E. Stripling, who she married on August 4, 1958, her children, John Stripling, Steve Stripling (Suzanne), and Sally Manry (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Lauren Hart (Kevin), Tyler Stripling, Clint Manry (Rachael), Blake Stripling and Will Stripling; her great-grandchildren, Alayna June Hart, Riley Manry, Aaron Hart and Colin Manry; and her lifelong friend Shirley Warren. June graduated from Huntington College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

A private celebration for family will be held in her honor.
