Mrs. Margie (MeMe) Powers Mrs. Margie (MeMe) Powers, 79 of Athens, AL passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 @ Residence Funeral service will be Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, 1 PM at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Donald Terry officiating. Burial at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-9 PM @ Funeral Home. Member of the First Union Baptist Church, Member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Preceded in death by husband: Jack Powers, Great Grandson: Clint Roberts, 8 Brothers & Sisters, Parents: Marshall & Effie Carpenter.
