Troy Blane Young Sr., 57 of Elkmont, died Monday, March 11, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Young was born January 24, 1962 in Morgan County, Alabama, he was a member of the Church of Christ and he worked as a meat cutter.

Services will be 11am Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Doug McCurry officiating burial in Athens City Cemetery, visitation is from 10am until service Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home.

Survivors: Mother: Brenda Venable of Elkmont, Sons: Troy Blane Young Jr. of Elkmont and Alex Neil Young of Decatur, Daughter: Brandi Young of Huntsville, Grandsons: Alexander Neil Young of Elkmont and Landin Rahm of Huntsville, Granddaughter: Bralei Dotson of Huntsville, Ex-Wife: Shelia Diana Young, Brother: Barry Lane Young Jr. of Athens. Preceded in death by: Father: Barry Lane Young, Grandparents: Herman and Eura Sutton, Roy D. and Mable Young.
