Brenda Sue Darnell of
Northport, Alabama, age 74, died April 13, 2026, at her home. She was born
December 11, 1951, in Athens, Alabama to Ben and Reba Taylor. Mrs. Darnell was
a member of the church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Darnell
of Northport, Alabama, son, Ashley Darnell of West Lafayette, Indiana,
daughter, Michelle Dobbs of Tuscaloosa, sisters, Betty Carolyn Curnutt of
Athens and Sandra Wray Adams of Athens, five grandchildren and one
great-granddaughter.
There will be a visitation Saturday, April 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home of Athens. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18th at Roselawn Cemetery.
