Mrs. Myrtle Ruth (Toone) Barnett, 82,
of Athens, died Friday, July 12, 2019 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Mrs.
Barnett was born January 1, 1937 in Limestone County and she was a member of
Market Street Church of Christ. She loved yard sales, fishing, camping,
friends, family and she a avid fan of Bluegrass and Country Music.
Services
will be 2pm Sunday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with David Cox and Guy McDaniel
officiating, burial in Roselawn Cemetery, visitation is from 6pm until 9pm
Saturday at Spry Funeral Home.

Grandchildren: Carly Ritter, Brooklyn Ritter, Lauren Ritter and Cruz Cash,
Sister: Jean Campbell of Decatur, Brother: Jerry McGlocklin of Athens,
Sister-in-Law: Julie Toone Bain. Preceded in death by: Parents: William Dewey
and Bertha Toone, Brothers: Thomas Toone, Vernon Toone and J.C. Toone, Sisters:
Jewell Toone Blakely and Rosella Toone Pugh.
