Calvin Eugene Powers 91 of Athens died March, 20 2021
at his residence.
There will be a Graveside Service Monday, March 22 2021 at 11
AM at Pettusville Cemetery with Visitation Sunday, March 21 2021 6-9 PM at Spry
Funeral Home Officiating will be Steve Dorning.
He is survived by his wife
Elizabeth Powers, sons: Wendell Powers (Renee), of Athens, Eddie Powers
of Athens , daughters: Annette Burrough (Larry) of Athens, Kay Baugher (Tony)
of Elkmont, Kathy Anderson (Luther) of Athens, brother: Jim Powers of Atmore ,
23 grandchildren, several Great and Great Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded
in death by his parents: Floyd and Louise Powers, daughter: Barbara Powers,
sons: Dennis Powers, Dwight Powers (Gaby) , Doug Powers (Sandra), Mark Powers,
1 granddaughter, 1 great granddaughter, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Pallbearers
will be Cody Burrough, L.B. Burrough, Bradley Carwile, Bubba Carwile, Chad
Powers and Chase Owens.

I am sending my condolences. MR. Barnett was my Professor at Calhoun he will be missed. He was a great Professor this is my 2nd class with him.
