Macon Dwight Beddingfield, 70 of Athens, AL died Saturday, March 7, 2020 at his residence.

Macon was born June 27, 1949 in Limestone Co. AL to Macon & Mildred (Greenhaw) Beddingfield. He was a member of the New Oakland Independent Church and retired from 3 M. Preceded in death by parents, Brothers, Steve & John Beddingfield and 3 Grandchildren.

 
 
Services will be Wednesday, 2 PM at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Dwight Raburn officiating. Burial will be in the Myers Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.

 
Survivors include, Sons: Macon Beddingfield II (Linda) of Athens, AL, Mike Beddingfield (Lynn) of Athens, AL, Daughter: Angie Carter (Tim) of Athens, AL, Brothers: Stanley Beddingfield (Kathy) of Montgomery, AL, Mark Beddingfield (Kathy) of Athens, AL, Rusty Beddingfield (Cathy) of Athens, AL,Chris Beddingfield of Athens, AL, Sister: Susan Turner (Lee) of Athens, AL, Grandchildren: Kalyn Carter, T.J. McNatt (Amber), Jon Beddingfield Erica), Jake Beddingfield, Harley Story, Emily Beddingfield, Kristan Mills, Rhonda Ensminger. Great Grandchildren: Lucille Alizabeth Carter, Haisley McNatt, Several Nieces & Nephews
 
Pallbearers will be: Mike Beddingfield, Jake Beddingfield, Jon Beddingfield, Andrew Martin, T.J. McNatt, Rusty Beddingfield Brian Beddingfield & Mark Beddingfield.

Lindsey was a very sweet young girl. I had the privileged to knowing her back when she worked at the Daycare. She was always so sweet and loving to my child. Such a beautiful girl who always had a smile on her face. She will be missed.
