Joan McBay Brooks - Spry Funeral Home

Joan McBay Brooks, 89 of Athens, Alabama, died Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Limestone Health Facility.

Mrs. Brooks was born September 25, 1935 in Limestone County and she was a member of Central Church of Christ.

Services will be 1PM Tuesday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with burial in Athens City Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday 12noon until service at Spry Funeral Home.

Grandsons will be pallbearers. Survivors: Sons: Benjie (Nancy) McBay of Athens and Donnie (Lynette) McBay of Athens. Daughter: Brenda (Henry) Parker of Columbia, South Carolina; Daughter-in-law: Debbie McBay of Boaz, AL; Nine Grandchildren; Twenty-three Great Grandchildren; Several Great Great Grandchildren.
