Mrs. Josephine Miller Green, age 82
of Athens, died Sunday, January 26, 2020 at her residence.
Mrs. Green was born
April 8, 1937 in Limestone County, she was a member of Truth Baptist Church in
Athens and she was a homemaker.
Services will be 1pm Wednesday at Spry Funeral
Home Chapel with Donald Terry officiating and burial in Dement Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6pm until 9pm Tuesday at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will
be Jimmy Green, Joey Green, Zackery Adams, Alex Tucker, Michael Gurno and Kirby
Hacker. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Nave, Matthew Nave, Jimmy Joe Green,
Brad Ratliff and Joseph Green.
Survivors: Husband of 67 years, Tom Green of
Athens; Sons, Jimmy Green of Huntsville, Joey Green of Athens and Kelly Green
of Elkmont; Daughters, Donna Thornton of Athens, Debbie Hacker of Ardmore, AL
and Missy Gurno of Athens; several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren;
Brother, Marvin Miller of Athens; several Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death
by, Mother: Leona Peek; Father, Emmit Miller; Son, Dan Green.
