Linda Bridges Gordon age 83 of Athens passed away Sunday at her residence. Mrs. Gordon was born August 17, 1941 in Limestone County, she was a member of Mt. Carmel church of Christ and retired from Redstone Arsenal. Survivors include her Son, Tim (Vickie) Gordon of Athens. Daughter in Law, Tammy Gordon of Rogersville. Grandchildren, Lacey (Sean) Graves of Clarksville, Tennessee. Walker (Bailey) Gordon of Rogersville. Taylor (Eli) Jackson of Anderson. Great Grandchildren, Kyler, Kyndal, Claire, Liam, Grady and Oaklynn. Sisters, Wilda Davis of Athens. Delores McCoy of Pascagoula, Mississippi. Brother, Dwight Bridges of Athens. Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, James and Lena Bridges. Husband, Turner Ray Gordon. Son, Todd Gordon and Grandson, Levi Gordon. Services will be 2 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Odis Duncan and Richard Durham officiating. Burial to follow at Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 am until service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Scott Tucker, Will Bridges, Shannon Rutherford, Melanie Tucker, Kip Bates, Byron Bridges, Kent Bridges and James Gilliam.
