Chambers Elmore, 80 of Athens, Alabama, died Sunday, September 12, 2021 in
Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Services will be 2pm Saturday at Spry Funeral Home
Chapel in Athens with burial in Myers Cenetery, visitation is from 12noon until
service Saturday at Spry Funeral Home. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Mrs.
Elmore was born October 3, 1940 in Limestone County, she attended Blackburn
Road Baptist Church and she was retired from Sweet Sue.
Survivors: Sons: Carlos
Elmore of Athens, Jeff Elmore of Athens and Dewight Elmore of Anderson, AL;
Seven Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Parents:
Clarence and Etta Mae Chambers; Sons: Marty Elmore and Brian Elmore, Brother:
Bud Chambers; Sister: Jeanette Graves; Brother-in-Law: Calvin Graves.
