William Linzy Smith, 91 of
Athens, AL died Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Hospice Family Care in
Huntsville, AL.
He was born May 30, 1933 in Madison Co. AL to Huston & Nola
Cagle Smith.
Mr. Smith was a Member of the Southside Church of Christ, a US Navy
Veteran and a retired Preacher.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, 2 PM at
Roselawn Cemetery with Casey Harbin officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday 12
Noon until 1:30 Pm at Spry Funeral Home.
Survivors include, Son, Carl
Smith of Branson MO, Sister, Marie McElyea of Huntsville, AL, 3 Grandchildren
& 5 Great Grandchildren
