Tabitha Danielle Gilbert, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, at the age of 40. Born on March 27, 1985 in Florence, Al, Tabitha was a radiant soul—fiery in spirit yet overflowing with love, kindness, and warmth that touched everyone blessed to know her.

From a young age, Tabitha gave her heart to Christ, and her unwavering faith guided her throughout her life. She was a proud graduate of Bradshaw High School (Class of 2003), where her vibrant personality and bold spirit left a lasting impression. A recent resident of Athens, Alabama, she carried her generous heart into every relationship, making friends feel like family and filling every room with laughter and light.

Tabitha was preceded in death by her beloved twin brother, Zachery; father, Larry; and grandmothers and grandfather. While her passing leaves an irreplaceable void, her family finds peace in knowing she is now reunited with them in the arms of her Savior.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by her devoted mother, Tia; brother, Marques, and his wife, Raina; her sister, Tanecia; grandfather, Wyatt, and his wife, Ada; and her greatest joys—her adored niece and nephews, Nasya, Jai, Alex, and Zion, who brought endless happiness to her life.

Tabitha’s fierce love, infectious laughter, and steadfast faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though our hearts ache, we hold tight to the memories of her strength, her unwavering kindness, and the way she made everyone feel seen and loved.

A private, intimate service for close family will be held to honor Tabitha’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory, reflecting her generous and compassionate spirit.
